25 (More) Facts About Me

I love reading facts about people. I don’t know why but I really enjoy it. And, based on the pageview analytics for this blog, so do all (3) of you. Just kidding, there’s more than 3 of you. So in an effort to give you all the content you crave, here are 25 more facts about me.

  1. I don’t have any allergies.
  2. If I had to eat only one food for the rest of my life it would be tacos.
  3. As far as part-time jobs go, I’ve been a barista, a babysitter, a server, a hostess, a sales associate at a tanning salon, a camera(wo)man, and a game day event associate for the New England Revolution.
  4. I really like the Jurassic Park movies and I’ve been to  Dinosaur World in Kentucky where they have a forest with life-size dinosaurs.
  5. I’m not really into sweets but will take anything salty any time of day.
  6. I only had to take one basic math class in college so when I decided to take the GRE 8 years later I had to teach myself A LOT. I’ve since forgotten most of it.
  7. I didn’t visit the college I went to (University of Dayton) until I already confirmed my acceptance and I only applied because it was a free application. Luckily it worked out and I loved it.
  8. I wore glasses from kindergarten through 6th grade because I had a lazy eye. I really peaked during those days as seen below.
  9. I have a tattoo (sorry mom).
  10.  I currently live in Boston but I am far from a city person.
  11. I have a birthmark below the left side of my mouth that looks like I’ve just been eating chocolate ice cream and need a napkin.
  12. My first concert was Britney Spears and my most recent one was Taylor Swift.
  13. I don’t cry often but when I need a good one I watch P.S. I Love You. That one gets me every time.
  14. When I studied abroad in Ireland I saw a band called Walking On Cars at the bar where they filmed P.S. I Love You.
  15. My go to good mood song that I could listen to all day, every day is Old Thing Back.
  16. The first wedding I’ll ever be in is my sister’s in a few weeks.
  17. If someone offered me a free trip anywhere I’ve never been before it would be Alaska.
  18. I’m a big fan of a good lobster roll.
  19. I fell up the stairs when I was little and had to get stitches under my left eye. They also had to strap me to the table to do it.
  20. I really look up to my parents and their marriage and hope one day I can have one like theirs.
  21. My college didn’t have a spring break but we had a trip called Dayton to Daytona every year after graduation. They would rent out three hotels, had free beer, and Sean Kingston performed. I only went once but I think once was probably enough.
  22. My favorite holiday is usually just whichever one is coming up next.
  23. Currently watching: The Purge, AHS: Apocalypse and Shameless.
