Apple Cider Fireball Sangria

Apple Cider Fireball Sangria

I’m a big fan of sangria.  I’m a big fan of Fireball.  I’m also fairly basic, so when fall rolls around, I love all things apple.  Coming up with a recipe for a drink that combines all these things was really a no brainer.  If you need a fun drink for an upcoming Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving, or just a Friday night, this should be your go-to.  Pro tip: pretty much all these ingredients are interchangeable.  If you prefer a red apple or maybe a gala apple, feel free to switch it up.  Or, if you’re feeling a white wine over red, go ahead.  The best thing about sangria is you can cater it to whatever you want.  But, if you’re not feeling crafty and just want to follow a recipe, keep reading.

2 Golden Delicious Apples

1 Granny Smith Apple

2 Cups Apple Cider

1/3 Cup Fireball Whisky

1 Bottle Red Wine (or white if preferred)

Hopefully you know how to make sangria already, but just in case here’s some basic instructions.

  1. Chop apples up into cubes and soak in Fireball for about 30 minutes
  2. Pour Fireball and apple mixture into large pitcher
  3. Add wine and apple cider to the pitcher
  4. Let sit in the fridge at least 3 hours before serving
